THE BROADYS

THE BROADYS originate from Mont-Tremblant in Canada. Composed of Dominic Parent (vocal/guitar), Martin Lefort (drums) and Mathieu Lamarche (bass), the band is an explosive Rock-Alternative trio with more than twelve years of artistic experience. Emerging from Montreal’s underground bands such as DEMENTIA, REDCORE, NOMANZONE, LOST and FOUND and COLECTIVO the boys then formed SOMETHING CALLED U.

They have more than 5 years of experience on stage, all around Quebec and Ontario. In fall 2008, they put their material to the test in the finals at the BODOG BATTLE OF THE BAND CONTEST. They recorded several songs on myspace.com and invested in the album pre-production. The band also had their music (RIDE) featured in a broadcast show (H2SNOW) on the RDS sport network.

David Laflèche (Bons Baisers de France, Caracol, Vincent Vallières, ADISQ) is putting together their first album in Montreal’s Beatbox Music studio. In the summer of 2009, Settimio Di Cori decides to put together with VIDEOTRON CORP a reality show (ROCK STUDIO) aired on Canal VOX, featuring the band’s very beginnings, live in shows and at various recording sessions. They then became THE BROADYS. It is sure to please rock fans and intense groove lovers.
